Been looking for a body positive friendly massage therapist?

Yeah, so was I! So I decided to be the change I wanted to see.

I'm a Licensed, Certified, and Insured Massage Therapist and I focus on body positive massage therapy. If you're a bigger person, I welcome you with open hugs and arms. Whether you're 150 lbs or 450 lbs, I'm here for you. I also am fully inclusive of any and all races, gender expression and QTPOC.

Also yes, I'm a Thai Massage Therapist who actually addresses your pain issues: whether it's headaches, neck cramps, shoulder pain, back issues, Sciatica, restless legs, or Plantar Fasciitis,

What is 'Thai Massage?'
Thai Massage (or Thai Yoga Massage) comes from the Indian (Ayurvedic) tradition, and can be more energizing and rigorous than most other forms of massage therapy. IT CAN ALSO BE VERY RELAXING. It's also called Thai Yoga massage, because I use my hands, knees, legs, and feet to move you into a series of yoga-like postures and stretches. My clients say Thai massage is like doing yoga without doing any of the work. "Lazy Man's Yoga." No oil is applied, so you are fully dressed during the session. A single Thai massage session will help you release stress and relieve pain, and help you function more effectively at work and home.
"Traditional" Thai Massage is done on the floor or a mat. I do Thai Massage on a massage table, blending Eastern and Western styles of massage. It's also called "Table Thai."

Table Thai Massage can be done gently, or rigorous. You get to choose how you want the Table Thai session to go. Everything I do will be within your own level of tolerance, but you'll feel like a rock star when we're done.

Swedish Massage is a light, relaxing massage that doesn't probe very deep into the muscles, and shouldn't hurt. It's the nice, feel good, spa massage that most people think of when they think of massage. You'll be fully draped with opaque chocolate flannel sheets, and I use oil of your choice:
1-Biotone Herbal Select Body Therapy Massage Gel (coconut oil base, Lavender/Ginger scented)
2-Jojoba oil (unscented, and from a plant native to California)

Deep Tissue Massage is typically for anyone who has chronic pain or tension that they want loosened up, and goes deeper into your musculature. With that being said, there is a 'feels good' hurt and an 'ouch, stop it' hurt. A good massage, even a really deep tissue massage, should always stay in the 'feels good' hurt range.

Table Thai Massage is a combination of stretching and compression. It's done fully clothed and undraped. Feel free to wear gym clothes. You can choose your level of intensity, but in general I will never take the stretching past your own body's range of motion. This massage is also called "Lazy Yoga" or "Moving Meditation" because I'll be putting you into yoga-like poses. Just like yoga, it's also a great way to get connect your mind, breath, and body.
