I have been in private practice for 27 years. I have also worked in a school setting for over 30 years. In addition to my clinical experience, I have expertise dealing with school related issues of both mainstream and special education students. I love working with couples, those with anxiety, men dealing with issues of aging, women trying to understand men, health issues, and those with depressed moods. I typically work with adolescents and adults, but am there for parents who need guidance working with their children. I do what works best for each client. We're all individuals and our needs are different.
Entering therapy can be very difficult. There are those that would judge someone "crazy" for going, but we can't do anything about narrow-minded views. By taking the step with myself or someone else, you are proving yourself considerably braver than those who you think may judge you.
